Recently, Weichai Power released the 2016 semi-annual report. Report data shows that the first half of the Group's operating income is about 42.287 billion yuan, an increase of 16%; net profit attributable to shareholders is about 1.052 billion yuan, an increase of about 8.5%.

   The report indicated that the growth of  both revenue and net profit mainly due to the recovery in the domestic heavy truck market and the increase in the European and North American markets. Data shows that during the reporting period, total sales of heavy truck Weichai engine is 83,800 units, an increase of 29.2%, the market share of 24.6%, an increase of 3.2 percentage points compared with 2015, to continue to stay ahead in the industry. Among them, sales 10L, 12L and 13L engine 107,800 units, up 17.5%; WP13 engine sales 5368 units, up 17.6 times.
